Ten cents... anyone??: One after another...

Few days ago, the Malaysian government decided to pull a prank on everyone. They announced that they are gonna be funny, and hike up the petrol price all the way up to RM2.70 per litre (which means it's a freaking RM0.78 hike!). They thought it was a really funny thing to do - to see the reaction of the people after doing so. Maybe the officials and Badawi would jump out and shout "GOTCHAAA!!!"

Not funny at all lorr.

After the petrol price hike, everything followed suit! Food, expenses and even the lousy public transport wanted a part of the fun. I don't even dare to go out or even drive fast, lately.

When i went out to the petrol kiosk, Manjalara area was already jammed up!

Oh, speaking of driving. My dad gave us a surprise! A pleasant one? A happy one? NOT!!!

He decided to sell off Vanesa! Our beloved Honda Civic!! Arghhhhhh!!!!!

And this happened right after the stupid price hike!! I'm just praying as hard as i could that he wouldn't be out of his freaking mind and go get a Proton Iswara. I'd rather kill myself by then! I hope dad's going with mum's suggestion and get a Myvi!!! But i seriously doubt so, cz dad's the type with the mentality - "since now everything so expensive, just get a second hand PROTON and drive first la".

One of the reasons why dad wanna sell the car is that Vanesa always breaks down, literally! Not in tears, but for other obvious reasons - overheating, wiring problems, etc etc etc. On the night when petrol price went up, i was at Shah Alam having lamb chops with Elaine and Jason. On my way home, Vanesa overheated and i had to stop by a petrol station at Sg Buloh. So, i was thinking, what the hell la, might as well fill in some petrol first. It was already 6.37am, guess what i saw????

Petrol price was still at RM1.92!!
Lucky i didn't join in the whole "faster go fill up gas!" craze.

First, the stupid toll hike. Then the petrol hike. Then now, another HIKE!!! We should tell our fucked up government to take a hike and FUCK OFF!! Malaysia's not really a nice place to live in anymore. I love this country and wouldn't trade for anything to be out of here. But now, with such a "loving" government, who'd rather push the people up front into the line of fire before they would even dirty their batiks, i'm seriously considering migrating!

I'm going to go hang myself now.

Oh ya, last night i went to Asia Cafe to "celebrate" Matt's birthday with the guys, before going for a few rounds of CS.
