New year... New beginnings.
For the sake of Chinese New Year, i shall type this post in RED!! Muahahhaa...
Just kidding.
Well, it's finally Chinese New Year, the Year of the Ox! Apparently a bad year for a me, a Rat. But who cares. If i live my life properly, there ain't any problems, right?
WRONG.
Work's fine. It's my second last day as i'm typing this. Tomorrow (Friday, 30th Jan 2009) will be my last. Although i sort of can't wait to leave, i still carry a heavy heart to do so. Working here's fun, actually. Well, minus the stress and all. But the working environment here's awesome! Colleagues, well, some are fine, some are just... erm. Shall not speak evil here. All i can say is that some people could be born bitchy, can't blame them. :)
Went back to Alor Setar for Chinese New Year with my family. It was great. My aunt can really cook, and i tell you, if i'd stay there for 2 months, i'd definitely gain weight... no doubt about that. The seafood she cooks - crabs, prawns, fish, etc. Gawwdd... i'm missing her food alrd. And my cousins... let's jz say they're my favorite cousins among all (on my dad's side). Practically grew up together. Needless to say, gotten my ang paus too! LoL. Came back on the second day of CNY, and went straight to my uncles and aunt's houses for visiting (mum's side). Food was good, but incomparable to the one at Alor Setar though. :P
New year brings new beginnings. I do agree. Although there're certain aspects in my life which would have a drastic turn. Only close friends know about this, not even my family does. Maybe it's just that i don't tell them things, or maybe i'm just uncomfortable telling them these stuffs. Perhaps my sisters, but not to my parents, especially my dad, who wouldn't care much though. Haha!
Ahhhh... i'm actually blogging in the office just for the sake of updating. Since there's nothing much to do and i just completed my assigned task for now.
I just wanna do what i need to do, and complete the whole process of getting my so-called company started as soon as possible. With the incoming wave of economy, i don't think my dad, who's been the sole breadwinner of the family could take anymore stress and pressure from work. I seriously need to step up to the plate and try for a hit. Jene's medical school funds, Min's in Form 2, mum... well, she's the big spender of the family, with a cautious way of spending though. Haha! Dad's jz a miser la when it comes to spending on "unnecessary" stuffs, but he'd still spend when he needs to. As for me... i'm the black sheep of the family. Should cut down on my drinking and clubbing le.
My aunt asked, when am i gonna bring my gf back to Alor Setar to meet her. I was -______-lll at that moment when she brought up that issue. Both my cousins are dating, one at Penang and the other (laughs) at Kepong Baru. LoL. So, being the nephew, i'm supposed to bring back one too. I can't exactly transport the whole whale, right? People who know this "whale" joke should know wat i'm talking about. But, oh well... time will tell. I ain't fit to date anyway. With better guys out there, i think i'll just stick to my priorities, despite wanting it badly as well.
Ahhhh... the cruel cruel truth of reality.
Okay... i've updated. Happy now, Mr. Pok?? :)
I'm out... for now.
