It comes from the heart

... and i'm lovin' it!!

I've never fancied birthdays, due to the whole hassle of planning, making sure everything goes smoothly and all... but instead, what i love most about birthdays is getting the surprises from people around you, besides the wonderful wishes. I wanna thank everyone again. I wanna thank everyone for being in my life as friends...

Before and at my surprise party, i received a few stuffs.

I got a pen from my youngest sister, Hwei Min... How cute!

Min gave me a pen for my birthday. It's been a tradition for her to give me pencils for my birthday. Added up, she's been giving me pencils for Christmas, New Year's, Chinese New Year and on my birthdays too, so i think i have around 14 pencils. Haha... But this year, i guess she upgraded her cute lil' tradition. LoL. Thanks so much, Min! I know she doesn't read blogs (she's only 11 yrs old!!), but i still wanna show my gratitude. I love you, Min!! Muaks!!

Simple, yet wonderful, thoughtful and meaningful...

Although the gifts were not expensive or anything fancy, but they meant so much to me. It's not about giving material things to outdo the others, but it's all from the heart. These are the things which make our lives more fulfilled!

And last but not least... I got a cake from my other sister, Hwei Jene.

Well, what's left of it though...

I actually am very lucky to have people around me who cares so much about me. Manda spoils me, my mum spoils me, even my sisters spoil me! Although i don't really do much for them and don't really hang out with them, but they still look up at me as their brother and i love them so much for that. Also for being my younger siblings, too.

I also have really best friends like Keen Seng, Audrey, Charles, Kwan Loong and some others as well (sorry if i did not mention ur names, but you know who you are la...) who'd always be there for me when i actually needed help. A friend in need is a friend indeed. These few people are the ones who actually do not hesitate in helping me, even though they're stuck in certain situations themselves. I understand what they're going through as they have their own problems too. I can never blame them but to have gratitude towards them.

Take Keen Seng for example, he's always been the main person among my friends. We help each other in our own ways and don't take each other for granted. He understands my situation, i understand his situation. He actually does forgive me for the things i often do to offend him and all, and he forgets about it and settles it with me over a glass of teh-o-ais and a few cigarettes. That's why i've been friends with him for quite some time. But FYI, his temper and ego is worse than mine. LoL. Audrey, my bitch, has been one of my "counsellors" in life. We bitch, we talk and we console each other at times. I feel that she's like a female version of me. Audrey's like a twin sister to me, and i love her so much for that! For the others like Charles, Melissa, Kwan Loong, Whye Shen and a few more. Without them, life is so dull. For some others, they have their pros and cons, but that make them so much special in my life. Friends who bitch, backstab and hold grudges, are just merely friends. FULLSTOP. For me, friends are like people i've just stated earlier. Fuel to your soul.

I just feel damn lucky to have such people around me. And blaaardy hell, i dare say i'm honoured, i'm proud and darn fucking gracious to have such people in my life.
