The Fishbone Strikes Back!

Yesterday was effing tiring!! On Sunday night, i was watching the Portugal vs Swiss match (which, blaaardy hell, Portugal lost 2-0!!!) and slept kinda late. Jon slept over at my place and was already knocked out.

5am: The freaking alarm rang like crazy. Both of us couldn't wake up.

5.20am: Jon woke me up, and i reluctantly did.

6am: I had to wake mum up to send to Burger King, Desa Hartamas, where we met up with Evelyn and Nancy (our bosses) to head off to Port Klang for our event site. Fishbone was there too and i had to keep my urge from kicking his noisy ass out of the moving car, literally. Will elaborate more on this later...

On our way to Port Klang.

Blaaardy hell Jon slept thruout the whole journey and he was swaying left and right, and finally bended all the way to my side. I had to sit up straight for almost half an hour, which is painfully tiring!!!

Look at this stupid pig!!

Reaching the port's security gate.

Helping Nancy to unload stuffs for the event.

After unloading most of the stuffs from the car, we helped sorted things around and started our briefing.

The entrance of our event's tent.

The dining area for the VVIPs.
One of them being the Sultan of Selangor.

The seating area of the VVIPs.
And yes, Nancy's pointing out... "It's the launch for Toyofuji!!"
:P

And for the others.

"WHY ISN'T IT IN FISHBONE STYLE?!?!!? I WANT IT IN FISHBONE STYLE... NOWWWW!!!!"
(inside joke)

The ship used for our launch.

We collected our crew tags and had our briefing after breakfast. Nancy told us of our event's plans while we had to coordinate her orders, as well as protocols as the Sultan will be there. Unless we'd want a bullet up our asses. LoL.

Our crew tag.

Nancy giving instructions to us and the ushers...

...on how the planning will go;

...on how the protocols will be like;

...and under the hot blaring sun too.
-_-lll

One of the highlights of this job is that... It's my first time ever to be up on a transport ship!!! It was an awesome experience... despite having to run like crazy.

Going up the ship.

Storage area where they hook and secure the cars they're importing and exporting.
(mainly Toyota cars, and the can hold almost 2,000 cars!!)

Going down the ramp where our demo cars are at.

Heading towards the saloon

Going up more stairs.

...to THE BRIDGE!!

The ship's captain being briefed and explained on the protocols.

The escape pod.

When we got down from the ship, we noticed something... something really bad! And the event's starting in another hour or so!

That scene looks damn magnificent if you're there personally.

It started to pour... cats and dogs!! Elephants and rhinos!! We had to push and keep everything aside so the chairs and red carpet won't be wet. Gosh, it was damn hard work wei... luckily food was provided. Meehoon with fried chicken and an egg. Hmm. not bad at all. After eating, we went and change into our "uniform".

Jon and i in our "uniforms".

During the event, i couldn't actually take anymore pics. But when the Sultan and other VVIPs were dining, we were slightly free... and there starts the camwhoring session!

The girls...
From left: Sharifah, Tim, Pey San, Evelyn (our other boss) and the other two girls...
(Their names? No idea)
Nancy was busy running here and there... as usual.

The guys in suits...
From left: See Khay, Adam, Alex, Khai, me and Jon.

Luckily we had a lil time for relaxing. We were even permitted to eat the food provided for the guests too. Oh well, it's a normal situation when it comes to Nancy's jobs. Same goes like the previous Petronas events. And the camwhoring continues.

Pey San, the cutie and some of the guys.

A thorn among the roses.

And then... a rose among the thorns.

Jon and the others were busy "chasing" after someone for pics.

And it turned out to be...

Our emcee, Ms. Hong Ju Kee!
LoL.

Tim, the crazy and perky chick, whom i bumped into at this job.
She's in my profile database, and we share a mutual close friend.

Everyone eating.

After eating, we started to pack up and clean up everything around us.

The place after dismantling and cleaning up.

We went home in a very tired state. And the whole journey home wasn't a pleasant one either. The car was packed. I wished i could just put Brandon along with the other stuffs in the car... IN THE TRUNK!! -__-lll

Oh well... it was another great experience and good pay too! LoL. Speaking of Brandon, after so many times of working with him; after seeing Matt (who never shows his temper before, ever) screamed at him; after all the annoying episodes... i just can't stand him. My patience level is getting lower and lower for him. During our work yesterday, i had a really strong urge to kick him into the water, as our event site was just next to the sea. Arghhhh... everyone there couldn't stand him already! He even dared to argue with Nancy, our boss!!! That shows his stupidity, immaturity and low level for common sense. All his complains, whinings, bossying and crapping. Arghhhh... at least he's outta my face for a while before the next event with Nancy's crew.

I'm out for now.

Got milk?

I can't seem to sleep. Don't know why. Must be my biological clock turned upside down again. Oh well...

Germany beat Poland 2-0 a while ago. Bahhh... i hate Germany anyway.

Last week, Jared rounded up few of us for a job. Jared was paired with Charles; Boon Chin with Joo Foong while i was with Kailash. It was a job by Leo Burnett and their client - DutchLady. We were supposed to head off to different directions in different teams and mine had to head of to Kuantan (of all places...). Hitz Cruisers (KL), MixFM Cruisers (Penang), MYfm (JB) and ERAfm (Kuantan) followed different trucks to their destinations.

It was quite an easy job, seeing that all we had to do is give up free milk to people at our various stops. Goshh, i kinda am "amazed" on how semangat Malaysian are when it comes to free stuffs. People swarmed our DutchLady truck like flies for the free milk. When Kai approached people with a few packs of chocolate and low-fat milk, he was evidently turned away by the public, thinking he was a salesperson. But when the word FREE popped out, even the ego-est person in that area would run as if it's the end of the world, just to get a few free packs of milk. Some kept coming back when we've already insisted that everyone can only take 2 packs each, so that everyone will have the chance to have the free packs of milk. But nooooooooo... some kiasu people kept sending their kids to collect the free milk. These blaaaaaardy people. Some would pretend they don't know, while some send their kids when they stalk the truck like spies; hoping their kids would show some innocence so that we'd give more. They really have no common sense at all!!! Oh well...

I seriously give these people FOUR SWTS!! -_-lll -_-lll -_-lll -_-lll

Anyway, most pics are with the ERA guys, while Kai and i took a few shots using our phones. We didn't really take pics at the other stops before, only when we've reached Kuantan. Kai being the arse took pics of me sleeping. Grrr....

Mission GIVEOUTFREEMILK @ Kuantan

KUANTAN!!

Kai and Jeff (ERA) planning on how to set up. Notice the people starting to swarm around us already??

Our driver, Andrew.
Damn nice fella... should ask him go out drink sometime. LoL.

I had to help Andrew to open up the cartons to get the packs of milk out ready for the hungry, kiasu Malaysians

See how big the swarm became already??
And notice the lil kids?? THEY KEPT COMING BACK under orders from their cowardly parents who wouldn't want people to see how effing GREEDY they were.

Kai started giving out the free milk.

Yeah, i know. We were damn "muak" of drinking those already!
Even Kai agrees.

The Kuantan Team
From left: me, Jeff, Kay, Kai, Andrew, and some fella from the other DutchLady truck.

We then headed to Kuantan Giant. Obviously it ain't THAT giant at all, compared to the ones here in KL. Haha... We forgot to take pics at Kuantan Megamall too. Bumped into this cute chick who was supervising an event for some gaming event by Wii, whom according to Kai, apparently gave me a cockstare when i gave her a few free packs of milk. Swelling!!

Another swarm diving in for the free milk.

Andrew and i were inside the truck sweating like pigs, trying to carry out more cartons of DutchLady milk, while Kai, Jeff and Kay were distributing the packs. Some even came back at least 7-8 rounds, till we spotted a malay lady with a whole trolley full of our milk packs. Isn't it great to have a HUGE family with at least five or six kids, at a minimum, and more to come?? Hahahahaha... (Pun intended)

The trash left after opening up a least 200+ cartons of milk.

After the whole thing, we went for dinner. We followed the ERA guys to some malay restaurant where we had our dinner before heading back to our hotel. Thanks to Jeff and Kay, being the ERA celebrities (lol!), we had free dinner on the house! Hahahaha...!! Awesome!

Look who (or what) came to join us for dinner?

The hotel we stayed in was at Grand Continental Hotel, Kuantan (compliments of Leo Burnett for our hardwork). It was a nice place to stay in. Andrew dozed off after showering, while Kai and i stayed up for our own reasons. Kai wanted to read while i had to finish up my ANW article. Luckily the hotel had WiFi!! Awesome!!!

The job was cool, despite having to travel here and there (which was the only reason why it was tiring), and we literally "masuk lorry"; the pay's even more awesome! Haha... with pays like these, i shall be getting my PSP very soon!! Woo hooooo....

Okay... I'm out.
