Uno Dos Tres

We (Charles, Manda and i) had dinner at Radlin's place of invitation from our affable host. Jennifer was there helping out too when we got there. Apparently dinner wasn't exactly done yet. LOL. Charles and Manda chipped in and helped out to cook and prepare, while i wander around the apartment, nosing around... I found Rad's organ and meddle around it. I missed the absence of my piano. :(

To cut the whole long story short, dinner was splendid! Simple, yet nice. We had rice with vegetable tom-yam soup (not quite), black pepper beef (totally... superb!) and gizzards (err....). The whole affair was really nice. Talked, joked and practically making noise during dinner.

After dinner we had a few smokes, then settled down for a game of UNO. Haha... it was a damn funny sight to see everyone trying to outsmart and beat the others. Some of us even cheated... haha!! I won't say who... but i think you know him very well... :P

Hmm... anyway, i'm in the office. Just wanna blog for the sake of posting something. I'm kinda hooked on it alrd... i guess. Too bad i didn't bring my camera, so there won't be any pictures to upload. Damn it. And oh yaa... before i end this post, i just wanna thank Rad for the wonderful dinner. And also... to wish 2 of my gorgeous gal friends a very...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO...

Wendy... everyone's tai kar jie, as she cares about everyone around her... HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY!!

And...

Carole... my ex-collegemate from TARC. HAPPY 22nd BIRTHDAY!!

Cheers to both super gorgeous gals. Many happy returns and many best wishes. Hope you enjoy your special days. I don't know whether they'd be reading this or not but what the heck. LOL. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GIRLS!!

According to Manda, there'll be a Jam Fest at Hartamas!! Kewl...!! I can't wait to go... it's co-organized by her company anyway. Good thing i brought my camera along this time, with extra back up batteries as well. The ones in my camera have been running for almost a month!! Hahaha... yeah, weird. But then again, i wouldn't wanna jinx the luck.

Anyway...

I'm going out for lunch now. Piggy's gonna interview us for her assignment.

LoL.

*edit: Oopps... Carole's 22 after her birthday and Wendy's 21. LoL. My bad!! And oh yaa... pictures courtesy of the two pretty ladies are from their respective friendsters.

Cheers. :)

Bonding session

It's funny to see that some people are against smoking: stating that smoking's bad, polluting the air, bla bla bla... but to those who smoke, it's a different thing.

I was just outside the corridor at my office, where my colleagues used to hang out and have their smoke break there. I was doing my work as it was too quiet. Too quiet as in i had to transcript an interview and i had to on the recorder quite loud to listen to the whole conversation. So i went outside. Moments later some of my colleagues came to that place for their cigarettes.

Everyone were chilling, having their smokes and chatting. They weren't as serious as they seemed in the office. Some were laughing, some shared cigarettes, some were even bitching. LoL. It was a fun sight to see people hanging around at a common place doing a common thing. I made a few new friends as well. Some were asking where i'm from, what i was studying and all, and they could easily relate their school lives, college days and all to mine. Some were even asking whether i know any pretty girls in college.... konon-nya introduce to them... hahaha!! They were hilarious! I'm just glad i adapted to my working area as people there were very friendly and nice, although they may seem quite hostile while working... -_-lll

A collection of Malboro Reds, Menthol Lights & Lights

Right now i'm just chilling at my work table, waiting for time to pass by. Pleaaaase!! Let time go by as fast as possible...!!

p.s. 5 more days to the day i dread the most.

-_-lll

Food from the LaLa Land

Last night Kevin, Charles, baby and i went out for dinner. First we went to Damansara Uptown cz Charles had some personal business there. After that, we drove around aimlessly, not knowing what and where to have dinner... gosh... this sounds so familiar! Anyway, we reached SS2 and finally decided on a place...

...Wong Kok Char Chan Teng!!!

It was one of the Hong Kong-style restaurants where they're famous for their cheese-baked rice and unique drinks. LoL. Basically they serve all kinds of fod stuffs!! Yummy!!

Look at the menu!! It's flooded with mouth-watering visuals!!

Kevin and Baby going through the menu. Charles have already ordered!! -_-lll

Kevin finally knew what to order.

Baby wanted some Honey Pork Ribs with rice

"B... i want Puuuuuding!!"

Camwhores before out food came. Charles seemed like he's praying.

Fooling around...

Charles was bored. So we decided to use this opportunity to make a tribute to all the lala posers out there... Here goes!! Hahaha... (note: may cause excessive nausea).

MASSIVE SWEATS!!!
We were laughing our asses off!!! Hahaha!!!

-_-lll

Finally our food came.

Kevin started off with his Black Pepper Sauce Pork Chop rice...

Manda wasn't too happy with her order...

Charles' routine before eating... SMELL IT!!

My porkchop cheese-baked rice!!

Some fried fish ball thingy in sweet and spicy sauce.

We kinda enjoyed our food. Maybe it was because we were damn hungry at that time. LoL. Charles and Kevin finished their food damn fast!! Manda and i were still eating half way thru. Now here comes the best thing in dinner... the DESSERT!!

Chocolate Fondue!!

Charles dipping his toast...

... and into his mouth!!

Baby tried some too...

...before poking and playing with it. -_-lll

Charles was still hungry!!! He ordered another sandwich!!

Charles: "This is how we should eat a sandwich!"

After dinner and dessert, we were chilling, having a few puffs and chatting.

Charles was still meddling around with the fondue's container. He made chocolate milk and also a wax char siu pau, a wax siu mai (prawn dumpling) and a wax curry puff. That fella damn free le... LoL.

Full and contented.

Last night was Hong Kong food. Tonight... MALAY FOOD at Radlin's place!!! LoL.

I'm out.

A Night Out

at One Utama.

Charles, Ash, Manda and i went out to OU to have dinner and for a movie. We watched Casino Royale, which wasn't as good as expected. It was... mediocre!!

Driving to OU.

We first walked around aimlessly. Bought tickets for our show and went around to hunt for food. At first we din know what and where to eat. After half an hour of walking here and there, we finally decided to eat at Dome.

Charles being emo, posing with Manda and Ash

Charles and Ash got bored and lala-posed at the camera.

Finally our food came. Ash ordered a breakfast set!! Haha... Charles got himself a Spicy Olio, baby got herself a herb-crust chicken and i ordered a gourmet pie.

Looks nice. Bon Appetit!

Everyone enjoyed their food.

LoL.

Mine's just pathetic. Maybe i was just hungry le...

After dinner we went straight for our movie. It was almost freaking 3 hours long!!! We din even know when is it gonna end, until suddenly he just shot some guy, and said... "I'm Bond... James Bond." Then there goes the signature song... "Neh neh neh neh... neh neh neh...."

-_-lll

Some FUN with the trolley cart before we went for a drink at Murni SS2 and headed home.

A Fishy Story

It's set in a very peaceful ambience. Decorated in white and there were aquariums by the side. It was a very catchy combination of colors. Blue and white. Even the tables were unique. U can see sand and seashells in it too. Kewl.

Manda and i just had dinner at a restaurant recommended by JP. It was somewhere at the new Mentari Business Park area. Opposite the Cash Converters shop. It was called the Villa de Fish.

It was a nice place. You can even see fishies!

Even the fishies can watch you eat.

We camwhored before and after ordering our food. Even when our food came... Baby posed with her "bunny" (which is actually an egg, carved into a bunny-shaped... err... egg). Lol. It was so cute.

Anyway... we din waste time when the food arrived.

Itadakimasu!!

Red is THE color

My first assignment: to cover the new Shell V-Power Racing fuel launch at Sheraton Subang. LoL. It was great fun!! I took a cab from my office at MidValley and got to Subang. When i got there, i saw a pool of red...

There were alot of people; talking and mingling around. There were even a group of mimes everywhere. I assume they were from Allan & Friends, i guess... I even met up with Boon Chin and Jared who were there for client management. Apparently their client was the emcee for the main event.

One of the highlights was to see the Formula One Ferrari racecar in front of the main stage. It wasn't the actual car, but a model of it; with a dummy in it. I bet baby's dad would love to see this...

The event was launched with the main man of Shell, Tuan Haji Mohzani Abdul Wahab driving a Ferrari Scaglietti into the grand ballroom... that was the best highlight of the whole event! He drove in...

...with style, of course.

There was the whole bla bla bla talk, presentation, video presentation. Then comes the entertaining parts. They had...

Hip-hop dance...

...breakdance.

...their ending pose.

and the Chinese drum performance.

Basically the whole affair was a great job done.

The Shell V-Power Racing fuel was a great deal; despite being a wee bit costly... RM2.15 per litre. But i find the petrol quite fulfilling. My car went much smoother; the gear changing wasn't as jerky as before and going uphill ain't a problem too. Overall the petrol was very satisfying. Even mum agreed to it when she drove the car.

I went home. Took the car out. Fetched baby back from her work place. Went to celebrate Rad's birthday at some steamboat restaurant at Mentari Business park. After that we went to play pool with Rad and Ash til we puked. Beat Ash 5-4 in 9-ball pool. LoL. Went home afterwards.

Anyway, before i wanna end this post. Happy 20th Birthday Rad! Many happy returns and wonderful wishes fulfilled. Cheers.

*that shirt freaks me out anyway. LOL. -_-lll

Anyway... i'm out.
