Take me thru the strawberry fields!

The movie, Across The Universe is just unspeakably awesome, especially for The Beatles fans like me. It's something like a musical as the storyline moves around a few characters and songs by The Beatles were used to tell the story.

Nevertheless, Stephy was bored, although i enjoyed the movie thoroughly... I'd give 8/10 for this movie. I dun wanna spoil the fun for those who're interested in watching this show, so i ain't gonna say much, although Lucy and Jude in the movie were exceptionally GORGEOUS!! I'm straight all the way, but i still think he's a darn good-looking bloke, esp with that British accent. Girls would definitely fall infinitely for that... And Lucy, she's just JUICY!! Ahahahahaha....

Anyway, this is just a short update. I'm actually rushing out to watch Unrest with Esther, who's at One Utama now, feeling bored i guess? LoL.

I'm out now.

Fly me to the moooooon...

...literally!

Anyway, few days ago, i was so bored i actually played along to some sms competition which was screening on 8TV while watching some tv show. It was the Across The Universe sms contest where we can stand to win a Timex watch. I ACTUALLY HAVE NO LIFE UP TO THE EXTEND I PLAYED ALONG!!!! Arghhh... but then again, it wasn't a waste.

Why??

Cz i won 4 complimentary tickets to watch the show! Hahaha...

The 4 free passes.

It's tmrw, at One Utama GSC

I had to go to Sri Pentas to collect the passes. Damn, the hassle i tell you!! Parking, especially! Grr...

But anyhow... Whooo hoo... i was actually anticipating to this movie, which is sort of based on a song by The Beatles - Hey Jude. Anyway, i just can't wait to go watch it tmrw! LoL.

Anyone wants to join me? :P

I can't sleep!!

Quote of the day:
"Dude, your clock stopped! Want me to fix the screw for ya??"

For these past few days i've not been sleeping at proper times. It's like i've turned into a vampire! I only sleep during the day and i'd be damn awake during the night. My biological clock is all screwed... so is my social life; i can't really go out, i can't walk well yet, i can't run... or even jump! Oh well... since i'm still having this 4-month holiday, might as well use it as much as i can to rest all i want.

Yesterday (Friday) i went to watch movie with Stephy. At first we wanted to watch Bee Movie (yea, again for me) but she didn't wanna wait for another hour. So we decided on Beowulf. Arghh... i tell you, this is the dumbest movie i've ever watched! I don't even feel like talking about it... alright, i admit the graphics were awesome, but the storyline is so screwed! One moment here, one moment there. It's as if the producers ran out of ideas on how to make this movie and they just crapped their way along. Great... at the expense of us, movie-goers. THANKS!

I'm so bored! I'm so hungry i can eat a cow! Speaking of cow... where the heck is that Wei Wei?! Supposedly to go William's!! Arghhh...

Red told me about this site, created by some people who were into socializing and partying. Quite interesting though. You can check them out if you wanna. I've linked their website and blog. Check them out through my sidebar. -------->

I'm outta here.

Poppin' pills.

Due to the strict diet i'm on because of my sprained foot which is slowly healing; despite the bone still being out of place and i can still feel it when i rub across the surface of my foot.

Although i can walk properly now, but i can't exactly walk fast; or jump or even run. Swt.

That's not the worst part. I can't eat chicken, i can't eat beef, i can't eat seafood. Arghhh.... And now i've to pop vitamins and pills for my health and also my healing foot.

How i wish they were chocolates instead.

Calsium Magnesium for my bones.

Vitamin E... i don't know what these does, but mum insisted i take them.

Stresgon... for stress relief, apparently.

And finally some diet supplements.

All washed down with a big mug of warm Miltum (mum's concoction of Milo and Nestum!).

Oh well... the things i have to go through just to be well. I just can't wait to get on my feet on solid ground... and start RUNNING!!!

Gotta go out now. Gotta send Stephy (not Steph Foo) to Jalan Ipoh for her interview with some Carlsberg event... Yea, hyprocrite i am. But what to do? I'm a nice guy! :P

I'm out.

Kena lorried...

Yes, you've read right.

Today, at the Maxis Tower, level 8, in the training room - Boon Chin, Kit and i decided... we've just boarded a very big lorry... we were lorried GAU GAU!!!

The briefing and "training" was okay le... the participants weren't really - participating enough. All so quiet and keeping to themselves. Arghhh... i can't stand situations like that. Feels like first day of class only... but oh well. I don't think i'll be working for this job le... even Yvonne was against it, so was mum, cz i wasn't supposed to stand too long due to my foot which is not fully healed yet.

Swt.

I'm out.

A nite out with Van

Fave quote: "Ma'am, i'm already a blood-sucker, all i need is just a briefcase!"
- Chris Rock as Blood the Mosquito, from Bee Movie.

Okay, i lied... i said i'll update soon, and i bet no one expected THIS soon. Hahahaha... I couldn't sleep!! SUE ME!! :P

Anyway...

Few days ago i went out with Van to watch "Bee Movie". An awesome show with an awesome cast. I dun wanna spoil the fun, so go watch it on ur own.

When i picked her up from Ridzuan, she was already complaining about being hungry. At first we decided to go for O'Brien's sandwiches, cz she said she only wanted to "nibble". When we walked towards the shop (ok, i limped, she walked...), we saw something else and Van decided to go to KIMGARY's!!

Oh well... we entered and ordered our food. Ahem... her food. I only had a drink. :P And i tell you, Van's nibble just scares me!! Everytime i'm out with her, food would be our "other friend".

Van started off with some soup and French Toast.

Then her main course came.
See the food piled in-front of her?!

Van's like my counterpart when it comes to being a blackhole. We eat as much... but she still looks hawt!! LoL.

Look how she enjoys her food.
(In other words, she'd still camwhore while eating...
NOTHING STOPS HER!!)

Swt.

After KimGary's, we headed to Cineleisure for our movie.

Both of us camwhoring before entering the hall.
Notice that pic doesn't look like Van at all? It's like i'm out with some other girl who looks like her... (*quietly* but prettier... :P Heh heh...)

Van was so cold, she tried using her hair to cover herself.
(actually we were still camwhoring...)

Bee Movie was really nice... although the ending part doesn't really make sense. And Van's "What the faark?!" proves it le... Hahaha... But before the movie started; while we were waiting outside before entering the hall... guess what i saw?!

ALIEN vs PREDATOR 2!!!!
I so can't wait for this!!!!

Anyway, we went home straight after the show. Van slept off on the way back, supposedly to go for a drink. But oh well... can't blame her. She called me out right when she got back from her work at Terengganu, that explains her being tired. Sigh. Work...

Ok... i'm really going off this time. Need mah sleep!

I'm out.

Pancakes for lunch?!

I was awaken abruptly this morning by some call over some really stupid issue, which i dun wanna talk about, at about 1pm - abit early for holidays!! Arghh... Anyway, i followed mum out to pick up Jene from college and headed to Hartamas Sq. for lunch. As i was still on a strict diet due to my sprained foot, mum decided to take us for something which i can eat.

So we went to...

Paddington House of Pancakes!

Mum had the dessert... the "Pot of Gold!"

Mum had fun gobbling up her tiny pancakes.
(which had chocolate cream, marshmallows and honey)

Apparently the gold were the marshmallows, according to Min. Haha...

Min had Munich... with a sunnyside up on it.
LoL.

Jene's Hawaii... the typical Hawaiian Chicken dish.

And mine... was Brussels.

Don't ask me why this dish, but mum picked it out for me; as i couldn't have the other dishes which had chicken, beef and seafood... ARGHHH!!

Looks gooey with all the cheese.

It had very few, small slices of salmon... I repeat... VERY FEW and REALLY SMAAAALL!!!

And even...

ONIONS!!!
AAARGHHHH!!!

But oh well, i was too hungry and walloped everything clean on the plate in mouthfuls.

Except for those baby tomatoes, though.

The food was okay, although i don't really fancy having such an expensive lunch. Only my mother and those two brats are always obliging to such luxuries. Mum even wanted Starbucks! Swt... The dishes, except for mum's, were served with PANCAKES! Yeahh... pancakes!!

Don't blame me for being so sakai, i've already said: I DON'T FANCY EXPENSIVE FOOD!

But anyhoe, we went home filled. I kinda enjoyed the meal.

Lastly, guess what i saw when we were browsing through the menu?? ;)

Hahaha... Fleur, this is for you. :P
You're served with grilled eggplant, sundried tomatoes, fresh tomatoes, capers and olives!
Goshh... u're a healthy meal! Haha...

ANYWAAAAYYYY.... MOVING ON SWIFTLY... VERY VERY SWIFTLY....

Ok... Gotta sleep now. There will be a briefing session for my Maxis roadshow job at the Maxis Tower in another 9 hours. I'll update on another post soon.

Ta.

A song to love

I was talking to Alex and we were discussing about Miyavi - a Japanese version of Jim Hendrix! Dun believe me, just go to YouTube and check out his guitar skills. He plays mostly experimental rock and he's GOD!! Speaking of Alex, i'll update a post specially for her, since she's the first runner-up for Project Runway Malaysia. Congrats darling!

So as i was browsing thru Miyavi's videos, i found one which i'm totally loving right now!

It's kinda similar to Teddy Geiger's For You I Will (Confidence), but it's in Japanese and the song lyrics are directed to the girl he loves (whom is married to someone alrd) but with dashes of sarcasms.

Oh well, check out the video. And with a bonus, the video has English subs, so stupid, ignorant people who think Japanese songs are crap would understand what is he singing about.

His guitar skills, esp the slapping part... Urghhh... AWESOME!!!

By the way... here're three versions of the song's lyrics, first in romanji, then Japanese and lastly the English translation.

Happy wedding

Congratulations, a song I send to you to start you off
Thank you, a parting song to you whom I loved.

I wonder if there will come an opportunity even if we're reborn...you know (laugh)
Groom, I'll save the competition till then.

There will probably be times you cross each other, and there will come nights when you fight.
Though if you're together at least you wont be lonely, right?

Congratulations, a song I send to you to start you off
Thank you, so many memories we had together.

You're absolutely BEAUTIFUL I think, I fell in love with you, after all (laugh)
The fact that you look so good together annoys me but...really, BEAUTIFUL.

The fun memories I had with you, and the bitter memories when we'd do nothing but fight,
Now are a beautiful sepia color.
I wipe them away with my tears and softly say goodbye.

I can't say the one thing I still have to say, even now it's closed inside my heart.
That time I couldn't say it I love you.

Don't ever forget it, the day we met.
If you fight, remember our first date (laugh)

I'll say it once more, congratulations.

Virgin road the way from here on
Wedding march is a walk together.
Fight nicely

"May you be happy"

...and not cheat (laugh)

PS: And please make sure to tell your future child.
Never to call me "mister".

_________________________________________________________________

Basically, Miyavi is saying that he never wants to see their child or be close to it in any way.

Hmm... such a confusing song.

I'm off to bed now.

My Recharge Revelation '07 experience...

...was a freaking muddy one!!!

Well, finally i have the time and mood to update on this event, which happened about few weeks ago, i presume? LoL. At least Sarah won't be bugging me about it... yay! But my stupid pc's creating problem for me!!! Arrghhhh.....

Moving on swiftly...

Two weeks ago on 27 October, which was a Saturday, i hopped onto Audrey sayang's car with Jess and Sharron, and we headed to Melaka for the rave! Recharge Revelation Global Gathering 2007!!

The journey was okay, despite Jess singing to some songs, which kinda drove Audrey crazy, while Sharron and i jz kept quiet and enjoyed the whole facade happening in front. LoL.

Anyway, after TWO hours of drive, we've arrived at Melaka. Audrey dropped me off at the apartment where Matt and the others were at, while she went off with her own friends. Matt came down to get me.

Freaking parking fee was RM10!! PER ENTRY!! CRAZY!!!

Ahhh... some rest after such a loooooooooong journey. And yes, Audrey was driving so slow, i actually FELL ASLEEP during the journey!! Swt...

However, the first thing which i saw when i entered the apartment, was...

Niggy asleep with liquor bottles around him and the blue... ahem...
(which was Sarah's, by the way... hehe...)

Yeaa...

We chilled around, had some early drinks...

Got a lil' tipsy...

Then went on out for a quick bite before heading off to the rave. We collected our entry tags, and then planned our way around the arenas. Anyhow, there'll be more pictures and videos. I shall let those tell the story. So enjoy!

Our entry tags.

Our map around the rave.

The first thing we saw when we entered.

The Foambar!!

The title says it all. An arena with a foam machine which splurts foam and bubbles out onto the dance floor. Everyone was foamy and wet. Hell yeaaa...!!

Everyone was madly dancing and drinking. The organizers even let off fireworks which lasted for quite some time...

Global Arena!!

This was the best arena from the rest, one of the reason is because The Shapeshifters were playing, and i can tell you... they're GOD!! I've never shuffled and danced for such a long period of time but because of them... ooohh, their music is orgasmic!!

Too bad, not much pictures, but got videos...

The Global Arena

Freedom Electric

They play mostly R'n'B here. But there was some good music which we could dance to.

The DJ console

Matt and Jon "pole-dancing" to a BOARD!

All high on liquor and music.

Matt, Sunitha, Sarah and i.

I bumped into these two: Dice and Jennifer.
They were with their other friends. And oh ya, i saw Dirga there too, almost couldn't recognize him. LoL.

My sayang, Audrey, whom i bumped into at the "Gift Shop". It was her birthday that night, too.
MUAKS!!

The "pimp" and his two gals: Sunitha, Matt and Sarah.

Sarah and Jon moving to the music.
Dirty dancing?!

Some of the other arenas were just so so, such as the Solid Gold, TQX Freedom AMP, TQX Freedom Urban Zone Skate-Park and also the TQX Freedom Gravity Zone where you can ride on the bungee swing and zorb ball. Oh well... at least i had fun dancing. LoL.

A round of clubbers, all high, drunk, tired, muddy, soaked... yet happy.

Our way back from the rave, was the same as how we went there. We had to open up Niggy's Hyundai Matrix's trunk, then Matt and Jon sat there, as there weren't any space to fit 8 people in one car. Hahaha... The Matrix looked like it had huge spoilers and two illegal immigrants hitching a hike behind, and we were drawing attention from everywhere!! Hahaha...

Well, Matt and Jon, who were alrd high on dancing and liqour took these videos while on the way back. They kinda bugged niggy with the constant "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?", and finally the driver decided to teach them a lesson by running thru a speedbump. All we heard was, "WHAT THE FUCK...!!" Hahahaha...

Everyone went back to the apartment, washed up, had a few smokes, chatted, watched some stupid movie on Astro, rested and went to sleep.

After a good night sleep, we headed back to KL.

Waiting to check out from the apartment.

A quick lunch at a Chinese restaurant before the journey back to KL.

The three stooges on Jian's car.

Well, when you put three crazy people in a Kancil and a long journey from Melaka to KL, crazy things would bound to happen. We were kinda high on soft drinks and chocolates (well, i was high on soft drinks and chocolates) and was singing to the techno music in Jian's car. We made our own version of "feng tau" music as well. Hahahaha... (come ask me for a sample).

Here's a video on an episode of "Malaysian Cheap-Ass Cars". Well, the first and last, for sure.

Everyone had their fill of fun. Worn out, but delighted. Disappointed by the venue, but satisfied with the music, fully! It was much better than UVNation, apart from the muddy grounds, and sandy, and rocky and pebbly (as Sarah would like to add summore...).

Personally, i'd give an overall score for this Recharge Revelation a 7/10... i'd give 8 or 9 if it wasn't for the muddy, wet and sandy grounds, which almost ruined my pair of Adidas vintage. Grr....

Ahhhh... finally i've updated on it. What's next?? ZoukOut at Singapore on Dec 8th!!! Hell yeaa.... But first i've to let my foot heal... *whimper*

Goshhh... took me almost 4 and a half hours to get this post up!!! See what i mean when u blog with a lousy, laggy pc and a monitor (which changes colors and the size of its screen)?!?! Arghhh... at least it's finally done!! I started at 3am, and it's already 7.25am!!!!

I'm going to bed now. I'll be seeing the "tit tar" sensei at 4pm. SWT!!!

I'm out.
