Promises are to be kept

Have you ever made a promise and kept it no matter how long has time flies; no matter how busy you are; no matter how much issues and other priorities in life; and no matter how hard it is to commit to that promise?

Recently GSC released this movie for international screening. When i first saw the promo ad, i immediately had interest in it. No, not because it's a Japanese movie (call me a freak, but i love Jap movies); but mainly it had a Golden Retriever pup as the main attraction!

Ok, ok... i admit it was due to the fact that it was Japanese movie too. Ishh...

10 Promises To My Dog

The title, 10 Promises To My Dog, would actually tell the audience what the movie is all about. But just in case you're still being ignorant, here's the synopsis to the movie:
When 14-year-old Akari (Fukuda Mayuko) finds a Golden Retriever puppy in her backyard, her mother (Takashima Reiko) approves of her keeping the puppy on condition that she never forgets "The 10 Promises" of dog ownership. Together, they name the puppy "Socks" from her white paw markings, and Socks prove to be a faithful and devoted friend to Akari as she goes through many trials during her growing years.

However, as time went by and Akari grew up (Tanaka Rena), she slowly forgets about "The 10 Promises"... until one fateful day, when she is cruelly reminded of those of "The 10 Promises" which she did and did not keep with Socks.

I so wanted to watch this show, yet haven't had the chance to do so, due to some priorities which i have to fulfill first. But after Tuesday, i'd be free to go watch!

Damn it. I actually almost choked with emotions, even with the trailer. I wonder what's gonna happen to me if i'm actually watching the show.

Trust me... i will. Soon. I'm just swamped with work, assignments and some other issues in life. I fell sick, had an emo period (in which i got over pretty soon), had financial problems, did some mystery shopping, etc.

I'll be back. I promise. The updates will overflow and you'd be requesting i stop updating for a while. Muahahaha!!

I'm (SO NOT) Lovin' It!

As i'm often at home, and i get hungry very, very frequently, McD's Delivery has always been an outlet for getting food. Unless i'm really hyped to go out to buy food, i'd just shuffle to the phone and dial 1300-13-1300 to order McD's. How convenient!

HOWEVER...

There're a few kinks to this whole "We'll deliver it to you, Day or Night" phrase by McD's is just rubbish! Out of 10 times i called the delivery hotline, i'd get rejection for 3-4 times, quoting them: "Sorry sir, we're currently having some slight problems. Can you wait for another hour?"

WHAT THE FUCK?! I'm hungry and i want my Spicy Chicken McDeluxe... NOW!! In the end i had to slog my lazy ass and went for KFC instead, since Kepong has one which has a drive-thru service! Woo hoo!!

Here's one more which pisses me off the more. "Sorry sir, but is it raining over at your area?" So what if it's raining?! Wasn't the ad all about delivering food to your doorstep, NO MATTER WHAT?!?!

Fine, have some reasoning out of this. It's raining, wouldn't want that fucker to ride his bike, having to go through rain hitting onto his helmet. Wouldn't wanna risk losing my ordered food his life due to an accident, would i?

One fine night, i decided to drive out to get something to eat from McD's. Went to the drive-thru, ordered what i wanted - 1 medium set McChicken, 1 Spicy chicken McDeluxe and 9 pieces of McNuggets, and one chocolate sundae. Paid at the counter, got my food and drove home. While watching a movie on my laptop, i enjoyed the food i had in front of me. I got home, put the sundae into the freezer, and attacked the spicy one first, while devouring the fries and nuggets at the same time. Finally i'm done with those.

As i reached out for my last burger - the McChicken sandwich (i'm still wondering why they call it a sandwich), i felt the box being lighter than usual. I was already suspecting. Praying hard it wasn't what i thought it was i opened the box and lifted the buns to check.

I guess no one was manning the pray-for-a-miracle-to-happen hotline, cz as i saw my burger and almost threw a fit!

WHAT THE FUCK?! WHERE'S THE MEAT?!?!?!

I was pissed off.

I drove back to the McD's i went earlier with the box of McChicken, went to the counter, opened the box and just push it up to the first person who said "Hello sir, may i help you?"

She looked stunned at my behavior. She looked at the box, opened it and... How i wish i could take a pic of her expression at that time. LOL. Straightaway she turned around and this was what exactly she said "Alaaaahhh, apa korang buat ni?!?! McChicken tak de burger, sayur je?!" I can see people at the kitchen area panicking, as though Najib's gonna cut their pay or something to boost their NEP plans, and prepared another fresh McChicken for me.

To sum things up, i went there with one fucked up burger, and went home happily (still slightly pissed) with TWO burgers. Muahahhaa!!

My mum often emphasizes that McDonald's have and keep their standards in serving food, dat's why she enjoys going there for the Fillet'O'Fish burger.

Hmm... Well, mum. Apparently not...

Someone please stop the pain!

Streamyx is being fucked up!! I can't even access to my blog, hence unable to blog... AT ALL!!! Arghhh... maybe the employees went back early for their hari raya celebrations?! Paid 77 bucks for fucked up services! Great... Juuuuuust great! But then again, that's what so "unique" about Streamyx! I just love em' so much! Yeahh... Go, Streamyx... TO HELL!!!

KL's not as jam packed as usual with everyone going back for the holidays. Driving around the streets was never this fun! Wheeee... Was on the accelerator non-stop when i came back from Subang at 2.15am, and traffic was CLEAR!!! Not even rempits, which i assume they all went back kampung to bertaubat or smthng significant. Perhaps they were having a rempit party somewhere dark. I'd love to see some rempit wannabe wearing his baju raya and pretending to be all decent and shits. Hahaha!! FAIL!!

Next week, Audrey sayang is gonna have her birthday party, yet again! And this time, sayang has come up with the weirdest ideas, YET AGAIN, for her guests. This year's crazy idea of hers... KINKY?! Arghhh!! What the hell am i supposed to wear for KINKY?! maybe i'd just go in boxers and singlet, and also slippers, and then wear a huge overcoat and puffing on a cigar. Swt! Just the thought of it is giving me major headaches. And then again, i've missed two of her birthday parties, i can't exactly miss out on another one, can i? Or can i??? LoL. ARGHHHHH!!! ANY IDEAS?!?!?!

No matter what i do, i still can't shake that feeling off. The thought of it still bugs me, and it's been going on for months! And now with some extra spice into it, the issue gets even hotter, with me waiting to explode in misery.

This is like going to the dentist for a tooth filling session. You sit in the chair, while the dentist drill up ur teeth. It's very unbearable, until he reaches for that outstandingly painful spot, u just can't stand it you clench your fists and just bear with it. That's how i'm feeling right now with this issue. There's a decay in my "tooth" and it won't go away. It hurts so much everytime it reacts and there's nothing i can do about it. This sucks.

I've got assignments to complete by this week. TWO of em' due next week, and i have another one due end of the month, which clearly isn't mine either. Just got paid to do an Economics assignment. Arghhh... the horror of thinking about it.
