Shishaaa

Was bored the other night and Fendy just went back to Adelaide, and somehow the plan to have Faraz's farewell at some club was kinda canceled. So Singyer, Amy and i just went out to chill instead. I din really wanna just chill at Kepong again, as it was utterly SIEN-ness to be here. And i'm not and can't be as CHINESE as Singyer told me i should be.

I decided we head down to Hartamas for shisha at Uncle Don's. And apparently, it was Amy's first time too. Talk about being a virgin to stuffs like this. This is why i hardly hang out around Kepong. There's nothing here, besides cafes, cafes, and more cafes!! =____=

Oh well... anywaaaaaaay...

Basically we kinda had fun la...

Next up would be Faraz's farewell party... but that one, i got 59 pics! I'll only upload a few here later, and the rest, feel free to check it out thru my Facebook, yea? ;)

10. List out 3 good points of the person who tagged you: Rae
1) She's not as reserved as i thought; could mix around people easily.

Smart Reader Centre's Launch

Mum and Aunty Irene were already planning for this for quite some time. How did my mum got involved in this, i shall spare everyone the boring details. Maybe if you bump into her, feel free to ask her then.

Last Saturday was their official launching day, although they're already open with a few students enrolled. For once, i got my lazy ass off the bed, and headed off to Taman Melati with mum, to help her out with their launch. It was hell trying to wake up, after sleeping at around 4am the night before. But heck, mum needs help. The worst part of being there is the fact that they kept on repeating children's songs!! Arghhhh!!! Especially the Smart Reader theme song. It'd drive any sane fella NUTS!!!

Anyway... What's Smart Reader all about? Click HERE for more info.

I don't think i'm gonna elaborate too much on what happened. I shall just let the photos i took do the job; although there're more in the camera than what i took with my K800i.

The tent where guests have their refreshment.
Notice how the place upstairs was decorated with lots of balloons?

Entrance to the centre.

Inside the centre.

Mum and Aunty Irene socializing with potential students and their parents.

Kids and their guardians playing around at the sand art corner.

Mum and Aunty Irene later on officiated the launch.
Along with the centre's mascots.

Finally, the crowd went down for the refreshments.
(Cakes, meehoon, jelly, drinks and etc were served)

Some eating, some chatting while the kids, evidently, surrounded the clown who was doing face-painting.
(Too bad Jon wasn't there as the clown. Wahahaha!)

At around 2pm, the crowd slowly dispersed, except for a few others who wanted to know more about the centre. So they sat around and continued chatting. Mum and Aunty Irene - as well as some of Aunty Irene's family members (parents, sister and even her son) - continued socializing with some of the "left-behinds".

Mum was talking to a Malay lady, who apparently owns the Secret Recipe cafe next to the centre. She even brought us a whole cake, as a gift. Now she is one ultra-malay i'd totally respect. Not many Malays i know could handle a business properly! (No offense to some others, i'm actually directly banging rempit-types. LoL.)

Her daughter was a total cutie. Unlike some other kids who'd just run around, making a whole lot of noise and just typically being annoying. That's why i hate kids. But this one, in particular... gosh! She'd just sits quietly with her mother, listening intently to us, observing the other noisy, rampant kids and was being a total cutie. Even when she wants to speak, she'd nudge her mother politely, and goes "Ibu..." LoL.

Imam, being a cutie, smiling to the camera.

There was another cutie. And i would say, she'd grow up to be a total hottie soon! I ain't pedophile, but who would resist someone like her, even if she's just 2 years old! Mum's also a hot lady, hands down! Mum told me she's Iraqi, who's currently staying in Malaysia permanently.

Maya, being shy.
Had to chase her around the centre just to get her to stay still and smile at the camera!
-__-lll

Packing things up before we left for home.

All of us, especially me, went home fuking tired. But it was worth it. Finally, another Smart Reader Centre is now officially open, and kids can start learning English, Maths and even Mandarin, in hope that rempitism won't be as bad as currently. Wahahahahaha!!

*cough*LAME*cough*

Okay... i'm posting this up cz i couldn't sleep at all. Slept at 12am but woke up at around 3 something, but went back to sleep and now i'm wide awake. For some reason, i'm having this really terrible crave to have KFC right now.

Oooohhh... ZINGER BURGER!!!!

A dreaaaamy sensation...

I was watching "Definitely, Maybe" again on my laptop just now, and it hit me. I forgot to download the song where Rachel Weisz sang in the song. And now, my stupid download programs ain't working so i can't get the song!! Arghhh... i had to resort to YouTube for it.

I've Got A Crush On You

by Stacey Kent

I've got a crush on you, sweetie pie
All the day and night-time
Hear me sigh
I never had the least notion
That I could fall with so much emotion

Could you coo?
Could you care
For a cunning cottage we could share?
The world will pardon my mush
'cause I've got a crush, my baby, on you

(instrumental)

How glad the many millions of Timothys and Williams
Would be to capture me
But you had such persistence,
You wore down my resistance
I fell, and it was swell

You're my big and brave and handsome romeo
How I won you, I shall never, never know

It's not that you're attractive
But, oh, my heart grew active
When you came into view

I've got a crush on you, sweetie pie
All the day and night-time
Hear me sigh
I never had the least notion
That I could fall with so much emotion

Could you coo?
Could you care
For a cunning cottage we could share?
The world will pardon my mush
'cause I've got a crush, my baby, on you

Yes I've got a crush, my baby, on you

Arghhh... i'm so loving this song.
Although Frank Sinatra's original version was better.

Ahhh...

Condemned

I could have been better.
I could have been stronger.
I could have seen what was coming.
Yet, i did nothing and left everything astray.

I fucking hate what is going on right now.
I fucking hate why is it happening all the time.
I fucking hate myself for saying things i should not have.

I'm sorry for the things i did.
All the disappointments and wreckage i have caused.
What has happened can't never be undone.
Only repairs and improvements shall move us again.

I should be burnt a million times for doing what i have done.
I wish i could turn back time.
But alas, it is impossible.

I should not have been a disappointment.
I should not have been a disgrace.
I should not have doing what i have been doing.

In the first place...
I should not be saying "I should not..." at all.
