Yoga? Haram?!

This is never ending, ain't it?

The National Fartwa Council claiming that yoga is 'haram', and Muslims are banned from practising it. LoL. Couldn't these people get any funnier? The chairman of the council, Datuk Dr. (yeah, and you think people with enough education would know how to differentiate between what's right and what's not?) Abdul Shukor Husin said that yoga would ultimately lead to worshipping and chanting, which is against Islam, and even quoted saying that Malaysia is not the only country doing this shit, but also Singapore and Egypt. Such a lame cover line, don't you think?

So, who said if you have a PhD means you're effing smart? Look at Shukor, smart ain't he? He's having Permanent head Damage right now!

So, if something as harmless as yoga could deviate Muslims, just because it has elements of Hinduism; so basically these brainless, make-no-sense, bunch of people should be banning everything. For example, taiqi and qigong has elements of Buddhism and Taoism; so Muslims aren't supposed to watch any Chinese movies which has those in it? Imagine banning shows by Jet Li, Jackie Chan and even our very own Datuk Michelle Yeoh, because their movies incoporate kung-fu moves! Muslims better not watch or they would turn too Chinese. Maybe the Fartwas would take a look into this?

-____-lll

Another example. Malaysia should ban everything, ranging from technology, food to even cultures. Fartwa should make noise about having foreign cars in our country! Japanese cars just because they invaded our country once; BMW, it's a German car anyhow. We wouldn't wanna be associated to the Nazis, would we? And even everything those stupid fuckers are using. Think of telecommunications. You actually think they're relying on Telekom? And where does Telekom's technology comes from? If not Japanese, would be Western. Wouldn't want them to be too Westernized, yo!

Omg. These people have to wake up and embrace reality! Everything we do doesn't mean it's gonna messed up your effing faith. These people seriously have nothing else better to do but to bring up miserable issues such as YOGA BEING A BAD INFLUENCE TO MUSLIMS. So should we go burn down Shukor's house cz his name is Muslim? Well, Osama bin Laden's Muslim, ain't he? No offense to Muslims, but people like Shukor just have to be more realistic if he wants to argue on something so puny. He's giving Muslims a really bad name here. There are so, so many more important issues in Malaysia, yet we don't see them going into it and solving the problem? Corruption? Oh well, he's the chairman, remember? He'd be getting the biggest slice of the "cake" wert. This is such a common fact.

Muslims now are not stupid at all. It's a religion where followers should be strong in their own faiths and not up to really stupid parties to decide what's best for them and Islam. Having an issue like this is like going after a fly with a bazooka. Maybe they could borrow one from "Bada"? Or perhaps a few?

Shukor actually studied the matter, including the history and purpose of yoga, and the council actually decided it's inappropriate for Muslims as it could (note the word, could?) affect one's faith. FUCKING BULL COCK CRAP. Yes, yoga used to be a form of worship, but think about it. Who does it now? It's now known as a form of exercise, for crying out loud!! Unless people from the council are suggesting we should take up "rempit-ing" as their version of exercise? Or perhaps taking up four wives, so that the men could "exercise" more, especially at night.

I've lost count on how many stupid issues are Malaysian councils coming up with. First, they kill dogs for no reason, then they supported "rempitism", and now banning yoga over something this stupid. Let's just say if other "religions" are as dumb as these people, we could be having World War 3, due to the global issues now (think TERRORISM).

Kudos to the Fartwas! Even the council's name sounds unhealthy.

Perhaps they're gonna start suggesting on demolishing temples and churches again (since it's deviant to whatever they're practising now), huh?

Let's list out what else these Fartwas or some other council shits would try coming up with:

1. Banning anime? Since it's Japanese and could lead to pornography, huh?
2. Banning having too much promotion on our airlines (MAS & AirAsia)? Perhaps someone would wanna try crashing a plane into KLCC?
3. Banning Cyber Cafes? Since teenagers are hanging out too often playing stupid games like Dota, and maybe it would be harmful as some would skip going for prayers just to go get MONSTER KILLS!
4. Sending more "astronauts" to eat roti canai, roti jala and roti telur in space?
5. Legalizing "rempitism" and make it a Malaysian attraction?
6. Banning the tv show "Top Gear", because one of its host, Jeremy Clarkson smashed up a Perodua Kelisa? That is so un-Malaysia Boleh, can? LoL. -____-lll
7. Proposing more Bollywood stars for Datukship? That would be so cool! Then we would have our own Malaysian-version of dancing from tree to tree scenes!
8. Promoting more shuffling!! Omg... shuffling is soo sooooo soooooooooo cool!!!! Try heading to Bukit Bintang and check it out (in front of Maybank, that compound).

Aiii.... Let's wait and see what else pops up! Not from Fatwa, of course. They've already created one issue. Other would follow suit soon. Now Comedy Court would definitely have more materials! Thanks to FARTWA!!

I bet Shukor practices silat! That would be awesome!!

WAKE UP, MALAYSIA!!! You've too many pieces of shit residing. Let's stop the cloning process, shall we?? Hahahahahhaa... (inside joke).

I seriously pity my Malay friends. So fucking mah fan for them to have so many rules to follow and to abide to, just even based on their faiths. Can't they just be left alone to their own beliefs?

Tsk tsk tsk...

Uncontended love and loyalty.

AND the Best DOG Award goes to... *drum roll*.... Razak Baginda for attempting such a lame cover up!!

Isn't it too late to say everything is a lie? Bla bla blaa... Opinions have been formed and truths are uncovered. Whether you think you're innocent or guilty, the whole nation knows who you are now and would definitely be aware if he's carrying any C4. LoL.

Anyway, i'm not gonna talk about that dog... he's just another piece of shit. I'm talking about another dog; one worth mentioning and remembered. One who's worth an award.

Few weeks ago i went to One Utama MPH to buy some book, and one particular title caught my attention (yeah, it was also the photo of a dog in front), "Marley and Me" and i took it off the shelf without hesitating. After finishing the book, it was worth the buy, i'd say. Even cost me 10 minutes of tear-shedding. Sigh... Seriously! I was actually crying for a good, whole 10 minutes when i reached the ending part of the book. And that was before heading to Ridzuan for the drinking session with the StonedMunkeys (well, part of them).

"Marley and Me" is about a Labrador Retriever being in the lives of the author's and his family. And how his silly antics somehow became the center of attraction within the family and neighborhood. As Marley grew up, he became a huge dog and chaos followed everywhere he went. John, the author of the book, talks about the experiences he had as Marley was still with the family, as how his wife went through a miscarriage and few pregnancy, how their children grew up along as Marley and the story goes on. I wouldn't wanna spoil the fun of finding out what Marley and Me is all about.

Now, i just found out they made a movie out of the book! I was so excited about it! Too bad no one among my circle of friends would share this joy with me, maybe Jolene, as she's read the book.

Sigh.

As i was going on with this post, i found two trailers of the movie. LoL.

Teaser trailer:

Second Trailer:

I can't wait to watch this movie.

Any takers?

Oh btw, this shows ain't for those stone-hearted people and those who don't like dogs and animals. You people ain't gonna understand shits even if you watch this show (or even read the book).

"A dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor. Give him your heart and he'll give you his."

My favourite quote of the year. Hmmmmm....

Savvy?? :)

Rainy day

I just got back from Damansara Perdana to pick up my latest paycheque. Blaaardy hell, RM442 only. Ishh... But what the heck. Beggars can't afford to be picky though. Sigh sigh sigh. And before that, had to wake up early to direct Ignes to KIP for her job interview. She was not bad on following the directions i gave her, all the way from Ampang to Kepong. Kudos for someone who's not even from this country. LoL. Wait. Maybe it was because of my super-clear directions. :P Nahhh... she was still not bad on getting her way here. Right, Nes? ;)

Not having classes seems so... awkward. Yes it's funny coming from me, whom especially hardly go for classes (either that or i'm always late. lol). Sitting at home, not knowing what to do. It sucks. Wanna call friends out. That's a good idea. But most are either working or having their personal lives now.

Oh my gosh... what the fuck am i talking about?? I should be looking forward to joining the working world! I can't believe i'm gonna be stuck in the office. Which i dread the most. But what to do? Whatever it takes to pay the bills! Arghhh... i hope dad gets the Avanza soon! I seriously don't wanna go cram myself with them in the train after office hours and of course on the way there too. I'm already dreading the thought of it.

-____-lll

It's stopped raining outside. The weather's just nice. Gentle breeze and the smell of rain is still fresh outside. Ahhh... the more i just wanna sleep in. But if i do, i'm so gonna waste another day!

I think i shall go out for a drink now at Spicy.

Let's see what's that fucker up to. Shall call him now.

Sien.

End of one. Beginning of another.

Since i left highschool in 2001, i rejected Form Six and went straight to ADP at TARC. Since then, i've been studying til now; in the process i've changed several colleges too.

About 7 years later, on this particular day - 11 November 2008, i've reached an ultimatum in my studies. It was unofficially the last day of my life being a college student. I've finally ended my degree. My UniSA degree. However i still had one last barrier to get over with - CNO's final assignment, which was a 3500 word essay. It almost drove me to insanity. But with my chin up, i kept going on for hours, at my laptop typing non-stop until i reached the word count. By 9.30pm, i was done! But prior to that, i realized by doing so, i'm actually unofficially a graduate! Sigh.

I'm gonna miss my college life. I'm gonna miss hanging out at the coll mamak for no apparently reason. I'm gonna miss running up and down the stairs when the effing elevators are taking own sweet-oil time. I'm gonna miss the backstabbing among students. I'm gonna miss the dramas around (which evidently happens most of the time among the population of SOC). I'm gonna miss hanging out with my friends. I'm gonna miss the free time i have after classes. I'm gonna miss checking out the pretty chicks walking around the coll compound (woo... hotel management students, esp).

But the worst thing of all, i'm gonna miss getting allowance. Sigh! An effing big fat SIGH!

Oh well... life goes on. I still have other priorities to ponder on. WORK. FAMILY. FINANCIAL. I'll be cutting down on yamcha sessions. I hate that notion. Perhaps even on clubbing sessions too! Arghh! Someone kill me now! But i know for sure, my time during Saturdays and Sundays would be packed on hanging out and catching up with friends.

Before i end this emo post. Just wanna post this up, before i couldn't have the chance to do so. I wrote this days ago and it took me only 15 mins to pour my heart out into this small lil writing:

Saviour (copyrighted)
- written by myself.

I kept my distance. I held my silence.
I stopped my emotions. Not showing any notions.
Just when things were smooth. A sudden moment of truth.
Things went awry. Thoroughly feeling shitty.

Words couldn't be uttered. Only mumbles cluttered.
True intentions couldn't be sent. Frustrations i vent.
An adversary entered. Predicaments encountered.
Trying to keep my cool. Trying not be a fool.

Feelings still intact. Still strong in fact.
Being in a confused state. Questions running through my head.
Often being left in the dark. Worrying became stark.
Trying to heal. Strengthening my will. Despite having much to deal.

What's meant to be will meant to be. What's not, won't eventually.
Fighting a losing battle. Giving myself an unnecessary hassle.
Already fallen in too deep. Expecting something to reap.
Bracing for negative feedback. Left with a life with a large impact.

Nobody can save me but myself.

Yeah... no one can save me but myself.

Happy Graduation to myself! And paving the path to the terrible working world. :P

Vroom... LaLa... Vroom... LaLa...

The trend of musicals is actually catching up and the whole fever is reaching Malaysia. Zac Efron being a hit among youngsters. Vanessa Hudgens no longer another extra for some show or movie. Musicals are just another wave of excitement hitting the world at the moment.

But... Never fear! Malaysia will never lose out to those guai lous!

Forget about High School Musical.
Forget about Hairspray.
What's so good about Cats?
Chicago? Hahh... not a chance.

Know why?

We got our own....

...IMPAK MAKSIMA: THE MUSICAL!!!!

This whole experience is so surreal! I'm so proud of my fellow Malaysians! They are gonna do something where no Malaysians would ever dream of (or even think of) doing. Malaysia's gonna be much more recognized again, in terms of film and broadway. I shall have friends from other countries inquiring about this whole sensation! Oh em gee. I just can't wait. I'm already noting down possible questions i'd be thrown at when i see those who're interested in this.

-__-lll

I just lost another batch of brain cells.

Did these people ever thought of the fact that they're burning so much fuel? And here we are ranting our asses off due to the petrol hike. Fucking brainless bunch of people. And then, the amount of oxygen gone due to the burning of fuel. Exhaust fumes. Burning of car and motorcycle tyres. And the best part of the video clip above was... noticed how people were jumping onto the hood? I bet they wore at least 5-6 layers of clothing on their asses cz it's fucking hot, especially after how many rounds that GTR has drifted?! Dancing in a parking lot like a bunch of pot-fueled junkies flinging themselves here and there.

What a sight. I just lost another batch of brain cells, yet again. There goes 20 years.

This was quoted from a website (shall not put them into embarassment):

Impaks Maksima, after a succesful movie and TV series, now comes the musical. The trials and tribulations facing teens of this generation are played out in this musical, which promises action, comedy and of course, romance.

"...action, comedy and of course, romance."

Wow. I'm excited!

This was from Malay Mail's website:

"
I know this idea might sound ridiculous to some, but we are determined to make it happen. We are also trying to make theatre more friendly to the audience, especially to the youngsters,” said director Ahmad Idham during the launch recently."

You don't say.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

MALAYSIA BOLEH... berhenti memalukan kami.

Please.

Realization

Despite being stuck in a "sticky" situation, i know i will survive the battle and onslaughts. I just need some kicking around (yeah, yeah... excuses, excuses). Luckily i have the support of my family and friends, getting me through thick and thin; in which i'm very much appreciating it. Without these people, my life will never linger in the darkness i've led myself into.

I know at times i would fuck things up and wouldn't know how to settle the problem. Predicaments could be barriers in life, which would make you a stronger and better person; but without the right people for the "job" in assisting me, i wouldn't have ended up where i am right now. I've been blessed with these special people, i couldn't ask for more in life.

I love her, despite what has happened. So near yet so far. I don't know why, but somehow i couldn't seem to get the words out without knowing the fact that rejection is inevitable. I hate this feeling, but it's there and i got no choice but to embrace it with positivity. What's meant to be, will meant to be. What's not, will not, eventually. But whatever i haven't tried, i wouldn't know the outcome of it. As a friend used to tell me, take two steps ahead and one back. Refocus, strategize and decide the best move for the best moment. I shall do that. For my own sake and for the fact that i will not let those who'd supported me down in frustration and disappointment.

Someone once told me this story to explain the fact that i'm not "stuck with an issue", which actually made me realize: no one is stuck; they just don't know how to move and improve from where they are.

A baby elephant has been living in captivity all its life. It is tied to a rope, which is held on by a wooden stake. No matter how much it pulled and tugged, the baby elephant couldn't release itself; up to the extend that it knows it couldn't get away no matter how hard it tried. Years later, the baby elephant grew up into a huge bull elephant, however, still tied to a wooden stake. Due to the fact that it has been held on by the tiny rope and wooden stake to the ground, the elephant doesn't know its enormous strength by now and all this while had the notion that it couldn't free itself since it was just a calf.

I can totally relate to this fiction. But now, i realize my own strengths and would really want to improve myself on what i can do, as well as what i couldn't. I shall not let puny problems hold me down. And with the support of people around me who cared, i know i'd definitely make it one day. With that, of course, i will never forget them, ever.

Right now, before i can go "conquer the world", i shall conquer my moods and remaining assignments for the time being.

After that, i shall go conquer something which i've always had negative hopes for; even if i'll be facing negative or positive response. Questions will always have to be answered.

But without proper focus, i'm not planning to win, but to self-destruction.

For the first time!

It made news and history when the world saw the very first african-american President of the United States of America! That shows how effing matured and open-minded the country's views on social issues and etc.

Imagine we have our first non-"BUMIPUTRA" Prime Minister. Hahhh... you think the barbies won't make noise about this? LoL. Why the inverted commas, you may ask. No offense to my ma-lay friends, i'm not injecting or inciting anything against you guys. It's just to those particular ones who'd insist and still bring up old my(their)-grandma-sucked-Abdul Rahman's-cock stories whenever the racial card is played. Could we be more open-minded and let the best candidate to lead our country to prosperity, despite the fact that person could be a lady, or a non-malai, or even a lady non-malay?! Imagine that.

Hahh... dreams and fantasies are meant to stay where they are. I'd chop off my royal nuts if one day we'd achieve what America have today.

Btw, after watching the news, i do agree that watching the parliament's broadcasts is actually more entertaining than watching Perak vs Selangor pitting for the Malaysia Cup (or whatever they call it nowadays).

Sigh. Life. It's so bitchy, you can't live with AND without it.

*I still can't help but to think about it. Even now while i'm rushing to finish my last and final PR2 assignment. I can't help it but miss her badly. Sigh.*

Why?

Why must something like this happen to me right now? What have i done to deserve something like this? This whole issue is just getting too heavy for me to handle and i'm almost giving up on it; despite the fact that i still want it so very much.

I've always been a fool, pouring out every ounce of myself into it, yet i hadn't gotten back anything hopeful, but a handful of disappointments. I know, sometimes things do not, and would not go the way you'd want it to. It's not like you put your hand out and you'd get what you want. You HAVE to work for it; strive harder and don't give yourself lame excuses just to get complacent over it and in the end gripe about it at the end of the day.

But this is so much different for me. I've strived; i've put in my best effort; i've hurt over it; i've slugged for it. Yet, i'm still yearning for it from afar, without being noticed at all.

A strong gust of wind blows past me, and sweeps it away as it goes. I couldn't do anything but to stand where i am right now and watch it drift along where the wind is taking it.

People say, "nice guys finish last." I used to resent that phrase. Does it mean that if you want something, others will have to be sacrificed and die in bid of you obtaining what you yearn for? Sometimes, certain things are meant to be, some are not. "What's done, is done," i always tell myself. It's always been my life's motto. However it somehow doesn't really have anymore impact at the moment. I feel that i've put in too much to lose out right now.

Fuck this whole thing. Fuck everything i believed in. Sometimes i do understand why some guys think this way. It's not always so pleasant when you want something; some things are put into jeopardy just for the sake of "happiness".

I can't even concentrate on what i'm supposed to be doing. I can't even watch my favorite tv shows or listen to my music without being bugged by it. Fortunately, my eating habits are still intact, in which boosted my need for a puff all the time.

No one seems to understand what i'm going through at the moment. All i get is "chill...", or "don't worry, things will be fine."

How am i supposed to CHILL or know THINGS ARE GONNA BE FINE if there's no proof or at least a small guarantee that there's still light at the end of this dark tunnel i'm walking in right now?!

Why must this happen to me? Why must i always lose out? Why must i always be the one who's stepping back?!

WHY?!
